nursing hypertension, Blood pressure is one of the hemodynamic parameters is simple and easy measurement. Hemodynamic blood pressure represents the situation of someone in that moment.
Hemodynamics is a state where takanan blood, blood flow, can maintain perfusion or exchange substances in body tissues.
High blood pressure or hypertension often does not give a complaint in person, but patients have a greater risk of cardiovascular death compared with people who have normal blood pressure.

Hypertension often causes changes in blood vessels that often result in higher blood pressure. Therefore, early treatment of essential hypertension, as it can help prevent complications in several organs such as heart, kidney, and brain.
Blood pressure will change over time depending on the circumstances a person. Blood pressure was lowest when the state of sleep. Blood pressure may rise during physical activity or psychological.
Definition
According to JNC VI, hypertension is the increase in systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥ 90 mmHg.
Blood pressure, comes from the heart that drives the pump mechanism of blood volume, with high pressure so the blood to all organs of the body through blood vessels.
So the high blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood pumped the heart (cardiac output) and diameter of blood vessels (peripheral resistance).

Cause
According to the cause of hypertension can be divided into two kinds:

   1. Primary or Essential Hypertension is the largest part (90%) of hypertensive patients who have dimasarakat. Until recently the cause of primary hypertension is unknown.
   2. Secondary hypertension. This type of hypertension can be known causes such as:
-Kidney abnormalities, such as: acute Glomerulonepritis (GNA), chronic Glomerulo (GNK), chronic Pyelonepritis (PNC), and renal artery narrowing.
-Hormone disorders such as diabetes mellitus, birth control pills, and Phaecromacytoma (adrenal tumors).
-Kelaianan Neurologist such as: Polineuritis and poliomyelitis.
-Other: drugs, preeclampsia and koartasio aorta.
