Includes examining:
   1. Peripheral blood vessels.
   2. The heart and aorta.

A. Examination of peripheral blood vessels

1. Peripheral arterial - how palpation.
Check the radial artery in a position of pronation and flexion of the elbow, if you need to lift slightly, then a.karotis, a.femoralis, a.poplitia, a.dorsalis a.tibialis pedis and posterior.

Which assessed the frequency, rhythm, cirri short pulses, pulse contents and circumstances of blood vessels.

2. Vena examination.
Especially the internal and external jugular vein. Venous chest if it was clear and the winding, means there are barriers to the vena porta, vena cava or there is a pressing process of the right atrium caused by mediastinal tumor or aneurysma descending aorta.

3. Examination of heart and aorta.
Inspection
Determine:
Perikordium forms, both normal breast is symmetrical, if there sesisi concave on chronic pericarditis, pulmonary atelectasis, scoliosis dll.dan when the convex / protruding found on the enlargement of the heart, lung tumors, mediastinal tumors, or chronic heart disease / congenital.

-Pulse at the apex of the heart (ictus cordis), heart rate generally seen in the area appeared on the sidelines apeks.Normal fifth left rib 2-3 cm from the mid clavicle, an area of pulsed jari.Denyut thumbnail width can be shifted to the left apex on pathological conditions such as cardiovascular disease, mediastinal tumors, pregnancy etc.
-The pulse on the chest, normally not visible, if visible in between the ribs

2 aneurysma aorta-right, when in between the ribs - left pulmonary artery dilatation (PDA, aneurysma a.pulmonalis), aneurysma descending aorta.
-Venous pulse, normal tampakdenyut not in the chest and the dorsal vein.

Palpation

The aim is among others to detect defects that appear on the inspection by the sequence as follows:
-Check the pulsation and vibration (Thrill) in prekordium.
    Research * tracheal movement.

Percussion

Declining role there after thoracic x-ray images. But still useful in the effusion aneurysma perikard and aorta, where the faint of heart regions widened. Regional decreases in emphysema faint of heart.

Auscultation
Using a stethoscope to hear heart sounds
