Angina pectoris

Angina pectoris is chest pain due to ischemic heart muscle. Chest pain was caused by accumulation of lactic acid, as a result of anaerobic metabolism in the myocardial cells hipoksik.

Angina pectoris divided into:
- Stable angina pectoris (Stable Angina).
-Angina pectoris Unstable (Unstable Angina)
-Variant Angina / Angina Prinzmetal.


Stable angina pectoris
Belong to Stable angina pectoris (SAP) is chest pain that arises when doing activities. Pain is more than 15 minutes and lost the rest.
  1. Unstable angina pectoris.Which pertained in Unstable angina pectoris (UAP) is chest pain that arises when at rest, more than 15 minutes duration, no increase in the frequency of illness or no symptoms of exacerbations.
  2. Variant Angina / Prinzmetal.

Angina is a form of unstable angina caused by coronary artery spasm.
